Book Club (Ages 7 and 8) – April 2023

For those who haven’t been part of my book club before, a little about it: each edition is six weeks long, and I curate the four books we read during these six weeks, paying attention not just to content but also to what we can do with each book. The idea of reading together is to enjoy the process of reading and to build links with other activities, including listening, performing, writing and critical thinking.

In summer 2023, we will be reading Petu Pumpkin: Cheater Peter (Arundhati Venkatesh), The Lizard of Oz and Other Stories (Khyrunnisa A.), Ottoline and the Yellow Cat (Chris Riddell) and The Adventures of Tootsie Lama (Stuti Agarwal). Click on the titles to read outlines of what we will do as we read each book.

Dates: 3 April to 10 May 2023

Online interactions: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30-6:15pm

Age-group: 7 and 8 years 

Early Bird Fee: ₹4,000

Fee: ₹4,500 (includes the books if you register from India before 27 March)
