The Second Person Short Story

We all know how to write in first person and in third person. What about second person? How many second person narratives have you read, and how many have you written?
Develop the art of writing a short story using second person POV. There will be a mix of fun reading and writing exercises. Bring your hats of imagination along!
This workshop is a guest session at my online creative writing programme. It is free for those who are currently part of my writing programmes, but open to non-participants on payment of a fee. It will be conducted by Michelle D'costa, an author, editor and mentor.

Over the course of three months, we will put together an e-magazine, for which we will explore poetry, drama and stories, working on feedback and the process of editing and rewriting. The fee includes 12 online interactions, up to three guest sessions and access to a private forum, where participants share their work. At the end of the course, I will create an e-magazine putting together the best work shared during the programme.
Classes are held on Zoom and there are only six seats per batch.

Registrations are now closed for the June-July 2025 edition of my book club. New batches begin every alternate month.
Over the course of six weeks, we will read 'The Monster Hunters' (Parinita Shetty), 'Boo-Boo Investigates' (Tanushree Podder), 'Saving the Sun Dragon' (Tracey West), and 'Dum Dum to the Rescue & Yet More Adventures of Little Shambu' (Reena I. Puri).
During every edition of my book club, we have 12 online interactions (45 minutes each), during which we read excerpts from four books. Based on what we read, we build links with other activities, including listening, performing, writing and critical thinking. Do note that classes are held on Zoom and that there are only nine seats per batch!

Read, Write, Explore (Ages 9 and 10) – June-July 2025

Registrations are now closed for the June-July 2025 edition of Read, Write, Explore. New batches begin every alternate month. 
'Read, Write, Explore' is an ongoing reading and creative writing programme for ages nine and ten. In June and July 2025, we will be reading 'Agassi and the Great Cycle Race' (Khyrunnisa A.), 'Dear Mr. Henshaw' (Beverly Cleary) and 'The Mystery of the Missing Geometry Boxes' (Vidya V).
During the twelve online interactions, we read excerpts from three books and do activities of all kinds. Additionally, one class every two weeks focuses on creative writing. Do note that this means that even though we read excerpts in class, most of the reading happens independently! 
Classes are held online on Zoom, and there are only nine seats per batch!
